Will the Arcane Jinx and Vi skins ever return to Fortnite?
The two Fortnite skins based on the hit Netflix animated series Arcane: League of Legends have not been available to purchase since July 10, 2025. As a result, they’ve become some of the rarest cosmetic sets in the game, with fans wishing they’d return eventually. Many thought the release of Arcane Season 2 indicated Jinx and Vi would resurface, but all nine episodes came and went without any update.

However, recent developments have not entirely shut the door on the return of the Fortnite x Arcane collaboration. Here is everything we know about the situation.
Will the Arcane Fortnite skins ever come back to Fortnite?
We are approaching three years since the Arcane skins last appeared in the Fortnite Item Shop. To put that in perspective,Chapter 3 Season 1was underway then. The game just enteredChapter 6 Season 1, so that gives you an idea of how long it’s been since Jinx and Vi were last purchaseable. So, are the two characters and the other cosmetics returning? The answer is potentially.
As reported by ShiinaBR, Riot Games co-founder Marc Merrill acknowledged a post from a fan requesting that the Arcane skins return to Fortnite. Although it is not uncommon for Merrill to repost messages from fans, this could be a step in the right direction. The post fromDanielMmmRrr1explicitly requested that the Arcane set drop back into the Item Shop this month while including Merrill and Epic Games founder and CEO Tim Sweeney in the message.

Unfortunately, a simple repost is merely a shred of hope, but it’s worth noting that this contradicts an earlier report that the Arcane skinswould never return to Fortnite.

When will Jinx and Vi return, if at all?
The tricky part of this situation is that it’s impossible to say if and when the Arcane skins will ever return to Fortnite. Typically, there are indicators such as the cosmetics receiving updates. The most recent example of this regarding Jinx and Vi occurred during the rollout of Fortnite shoes, otherwiseknown as Kicks.
Both Arcane skins are eligible to wear Kicks, which could be another positive indication. Ultimately, we won’t know until more information comes to light, but there are some seeds planted that could point toward a triumphant return.
