I have got fantastic news to share with you, fellowBanjo-Kazooiedie-hards — the Xbox LIVE Arcade port ofBanjo-Tooiewas given a rough release date of Aprilby Rare earlier this morning.

My experience with the XBLA version ofBanjo-Kazooiewas nothing short of terrific thanks to its silky smooth frame rate and high-def presentation, and I expect the same treatment forTooie.

Best of all, Rare says that “the original plan for Stop ‘n’ Swop” has been implemented inBanjo-Tooie. Fans have been waiting to hear that sentence for far too long, and I cannot wait to see what’s in store for us.

Even though I own a physical copy ofBanjo-Tooie, I’ll certainly be getting it again on LIVE Arcade. Anyone else here thinking about double-dipping?
