Beasly Esports announces its relationship with West Point United States Military Academy in providing support for their esports division Rocket League team.

The American esports organization Beasly Esports just announce their partnership with the West Point United States Military Academy for their esports division, Army West Point Esports. The organization currently owns two esports teams competing in two game titles: Houston Outlaws Overwatch and Rocket League Championship Series team, Team AXLE. Following this partnership, Beasly Esports will be supporting the military academy esports club in the American collegiate esports scene.

Collegiate

They will lend their support to the Army West Point Esports in the form of coaching staff from Team AXLE. Furthermore, Team AXLE will provide strategic coaching and training for the Army West Point Esports Rocket League team. They will be collaborating through the end of the Spring Term as they compete in various tournaments. In addition, the competitive season includes the National Esports Collegiate Conference (NECC) and scrimmages against other competitive esports organizations.

The collaboration opens up new opportunities for both Army West Point Esports and Beasly Esports

Victor Castro, the director of Army West Point Esports shares his excitement about the collaboration. He expressed how the team is eager to test its limits in the collegiate esports arena with the help of professional coaching from Team AXLE. Victor further stated how it is one of their biggest success to have the opportunity to work with a professional organization like Beasley Esports. He said, “These opportunities will make their experience here at the academy lifelong and memorable.”

The COO of Beasly Esports, Lori Burgess, also shares the same enthusiasm. She commented on the growth of the collegiate esports scene and Beasly Esports is delighted to expand its expertise in the collegiate coaching space. She explained further, “This effort leverages our growing status within the Rocket League community and will enable us to introduce some best-in-class training practices used with our professional teams to foster teamwork, competitive fitness, and top-level performance.”

Army West Point Esports recognizes esports as the next big thing

Army West Point Esports was established in early 2020. West Point U.S Military Academy noticed the bloom of the esports industry and recognizes the benefits of gaming for their cadets. They then decided to open up a spot for esports among traditional sports. Cadets at West Point can participate both casually and competitively in seven different game titles. They maintain two teams for each title called the Black team for Varsity and the Gold team for Junior Varsity.

Beasly Esports committed to deliver premium gaming content

Houston Outlaws is undoubtedly one of the top teams in the Overwatch scene. They place third in the recent 2022 Overwatch League (OWL), the premier professional esports league organized by Blizzard Entertainment. Their current roster consisted of Oh “Pelican” Se-hyun, Lee “Fearless” Eui-Seok, Kim “Shu” Jin-seo, and Lee “Happy” Jung-woo.

Meanwhile, Team Axle is holding up pretty well in the Rocket League scene, ranking 11th in the North American scene. Furthermore, the team is currently going into its second split of the Rocket League Championship Series (RLCS). Their current players are Jackson “ayjacks” Carter, Jesus “gimmick” Parra, Eli “Toastie” Nichols, and Zachary “Dino” Moffatt with Jake “Wronskian” Brennan as the coach.
