Learn some Train smokes to gain the upper hand while most players are still unfamiliar with the map.
After much anticipation, Valve added Train to CS2. Now, it’s time for all of us to learn or re-learn the best smoke lineups around the map.

Whether you inspire to be a serious CS2 player or just want to have fun with friends, you must learn how to smoke at least of couple of spots in every map to help out your team.
And, sinceTrain has gone through a significant redesign for CS2, you’ll be in a prime position to win more games if you learn some smoke lineups in the next couple of weeks.

CS2: Best Train smokes
A Bombsite - Z (Jump Throw)
This is a great smoke to attack the A bombsite on Train. Any CT standing on Z (Connector) won’t be able to help while your team enters A unless they reposition themselves in the middle of the execution.
The Z smoke is also good to bait reactions from the CTs. For example, you may use this smoke to draw attention and make one of the CTs standing on B rotate while the rest of your team is ready to enter.

A bombsite - Longdog (Normal throw)
The old Popdog has been remodeled to Longdog, and it’s still a great spot for CTs to hold.
If you smoke Longdog, though, and attack the A bombsite, the CT in Longdog will have to get out of the smoke to help — and stand right in the open — or wait for the smoke to dissipate while you’ll most likely have planted the C4 already.

A bombsite - Ivy (Jump throw)
This smoke is great if you want to get out of T Main and attack the A bombsite. The CT standing on Ivy will be forced to reposition if he wants to help his teammates, earning precious time for your attack.
B bombsite - Left side bomb (Normal throw)
This smoke, paired with the simple smoke in front of B tunnels, provide enough cover for your team to plant the C4 as quickly as possible and reposition for the after-plant.
Thank you for all your devotion to Counter-Strike, f0rest.
