A big announcement just after the end of the Copenhagen Major!
Just after NAVI got the PGL Copenhagen Major trophy over FaZe Clan, we get the announcement of the first BetBoom Dacha CS2 LAN. The tournament is set to happen in Belgrade (Serbia), with a prize pool of $500,000 USD.
The BetBoom Dacha Belgrade will happen on May 14-19. However, there’s going to be an online stage before to determine which two teams are joining the final eight. Here you will find all the details on regional qualifiers, dates, scheduled games, and more.

Only FaZe Clan and Natus Vincere remain, it remains to be seen who will be crowned the champion of the first CS2 Major.

Announced teams and venue
The BetBoom Dacha CS2 LAN will feature eight of the best teams in the world. Six of them will be directly invited, the remaining two will come from South America and Europe closed qualifiers. These are the five confirmed invited teams, with one yet to be announced:
With one slot available, we could still see the recent Major champions NAVI invited, or even FaZe Clan as the runner-ups.
As for the venue, Fissure announced they are moving their studio to a private location in Belgrade, Serbia. There, they will be able to “bring our viewers quality content, a cozy atmosphere, and a beautiful game”, according to Nikolay Vesnin, CEO of Fissure.

BetBoom Dacha Online Stage
The chosen regions to play the online stage are South America and Europe, with one slot for each. The dates for each will be as follows:
Eight South American teams will be playing for one slot to qualify for the BetBoom Dacha CS2 LAN. However, one is not announced yet:
Europe and CIS will have only one slot available too, but in their case, sixteen teams will be fighting for that chance:
Opening scheduled matches
The BetBoom Dacha CS2 LAN is still far from starting. But the first games for the European online stage have already been announced by Fissure. These will be the opening Bo1 matches:
The South American online stage begin on Apr. 4, as we previously mentioned. Schedules have not been revealed yet, but you can expect the games to start at 18:30 PET on that day. We strongly suggest you use atimezone converterfor this.
