Samurai Shenanigans

Publisher 505 Games has released the “Randomizer” update for the Nintendo Switch edition ofBloodstained: Ritual of the Night.

Released for PS4, PC, and Xbox One back in early May,the new update will allow players who have achievedBloodstained’s“True Ending” with Miriam to re-run the adventure as brooding demon slayer Zangetsu. While Zangetsu has his own weapons and attacks, he unfortunately does not have his own story arc/cut-scenes. Still, it’s a nice change of place to whiz through HellHold as a new character.

The Randomizer features will let players alter the parameters of the game, essentially creating a unique path throughBloodstainedby shuffling item locations, save rooms, and quest givers, while tweaking the drops offered from defeated enemies. This will provide even the most hardenedBloodstainedplayers with a fresh, new challenge. I just hope you find the voice-changer mask in double-quick time.

Bloodstained: Ritual of the Nightis available now on PS4, PC, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
