So good.

Remember us telling you about the upcomingJRPG-inspired 16-bit noir detective game, namedPixel Noir? Its music was composed by SWDTech’s audio lead, Kunal Majmudar, who you might know fromthe game music cover band, The OneUps, and the remixing group, The Bad Dudes. The sound is a mix of JRPGs of the past, from 8-bit up through the PlayStation years. I think it’s like a SNES JRPG with NES sounds, sprinkled with all the benefits of modern technology.

You can listen for yourself on their newly releasedPIXEL NOIR: Super Mysterious Detective Sampler, currently available onBandcamp. Free. And it’sVery Good Stuff.
