It was in February whenCloud9 tweeted their in-game itemsthat were removed three years ago, when their Rainbow Six Siege team was dissolved. The community thought they were about to announce a comeback, but days passed and it hadn’t happened. Until today.

Cloud9’s Rainbow Six Siege team is nothing less than Beastcoast’s current team, your BLAST R6 Major Manchester 2024 champions. The tag will be “Cloud9 Beastcoast”, meaning that the two organizations are signing a partnership instead of one replacing the other.

What’s going to be Cloud9 Beastcoast’s Rainbow Six first tournament?

As every team in the world, Cloud9 Beastcoast Rainbow Six Siege team will be aiming to qualify to theEsports World Cup. With $2M dollars on the line, all the teams playing the EWC will come from open qualifiers.

After that, the top eight will play the closed qualifiers stage. Only for the MENA region, two teams will be directly invited to the CQ, according to their placement on theSaudi eLeague.
