I love weirdo concept designs as much as the next guy wire , but these “ Curious Displays ” seem a flake too far out of left field for me . basically , they ’re century of mini display blocks that can shape wherever they require .
So if you needed a admonisher of where the remote was , a bunch could go spring an pointer pointing at it . A lot more could make up a shopping list for you near the electric refrigerator . And so on and so forth .
My issue is that it just all seems so impractical . How often do you need a fix - based display ? How many problem that this system claims to solve could n’t be solved more inexpensively and easily on an already - survive gimmick , like a phone or a pad of paper ?
But who knows , I ’m no fantast . Maybe Curious Displays are the wave of the future . Then again , mayhap not . [ Curious DisplaysviaBoing Boing ]
