To Hell with It

Blizzard Entertainment has announced that it will hold beta tests this March from its grim-looking dungeon-crawlerDiablo IVthis March. The grim ‘n’ gothic sequel is currently scheduled to launch June 6 on PC and consoles.

The beta, confirmed during this weekend’sIGN Fan Fest, will be live across all platforms and will allow players to battle through most of the sequel’s first act, set within the locale of “Fractured Peaks”. All character classes are available to play up to a level cap of 25, and most of the main quests and side objectives will be included in the beta. It sounds similar to the beta test forDiablo III, which was held back in the spring of 2012 and offered up the same experience and limitations.
