Craft Fishing Rods for some LEGO Fortnite fun!
LEGO Fortnitehas cooled off since its roaring start in December 2023. Overthe last few updates, Epic Games has slowly expanded the product, addingnew skinsand items to the game. Today, Fortnite’s official social media channels have announced that fishing is officially coming to LEGO Fortnite in update v28.30. This mechanic echoes what Battle Royale players see in standard matches, and we are here to explain it from top to bottom.
How does fishing work in LEGO Fortnite?
Once the latest Fortnite updategoes live on February 22, the fishing mechanic will be available in LEGO Fortnite. However, there are a few things to consider before embarking on your quest to become a bass master. First and foremost, fishing in LEGO Fortnite requires you to craft a Fishing Rod.

What fish can I catch in the LEGO game mode?
Fifteen fish species are available to catch in LEGO Fortnite, ranging from the classic orange Flopper from Battle Royale mode to something called a Molten Spicy Fish. Each species offers different perks, including a boost to your HP, but you can also use the new Food Processor item to craft more intricate seafood dishes.
