Fortnite’s collaboration with Disney’sPirates of the Caribbeanfranchise is here. After months of teasers and unfortunate leaks, theAll Sweat Summerhas received a pirate makeover, and don’t worry, Jack Sparrow is along for the ride. As with many recent crossovers, theFortnite x Pirates collabincludes the Cursed Sails Pass, giving you access to additional rewards during the event. This article explains everything you need to know about the Pirates of the Caribbean event pass.
Fortnite Cursed Sails Pass: All rewards and Free vs. Premium Tracks explained
The Cursed Sails Pass offers 24 exclusive rewards separated into a Free and Premium Track. Some of the unlockable items include Back Blings, Loading Screens, and Pickaxes. One such reward in the Premium Tier is Jack Sparrow’s iconic run from the Pirates of the Caribbean film series.
Overall, depending on your feelings about the collaboration, you can choose to simply unlock the Free rewards or fork over 1,000 V-Bucks to access the Premium Track. Keep in mind that the Premium Track contains the Jack Sparrow skin. You will receive the skin instantly if you decide to upgrade.
No matter the path, you must complete Quests and acquire “Cursed Gold” to unlock all the items.

How do I unlock the items in the Fortnite Cursed Sails Pass?
You can unlock the items within the Curse Sails Pass by acquiring “Cursed Gold.” This currency is specific to the Pirates collaboration event. As you complete Cursed Sails Quests, you will earn Cursed Gold and can exchange it for items in the Pass. It will cost you 11,000 Cursed Gold to unlock everything in the Cursed Sails Pass.

How to unlock the Jack’s Ship Glider
While included in the Event Pass, unlocking the Jack’s Ship Glider reward requires you to collect eight map pieces associated with the Cursed Sail Quests. Epic Games has divided these Quests into “Pirate Codes.” After completing four Quests within each code, you will receive a piece of the map. Once you have acquired all eight map pieces, the Jack’s Ship Glider is all yours.

Is the Cursed Sails Pass worth it?
Although an unexpected crossover, many are wondering whether this event pass is worth the money. Ultimately, that comes down to whether you can live without the Jack Sparrow skin. Epic Games has locked this skin behind the Premium Tier, meaning it will cost you 1,000 V-Bucks to unlock. Overall, the value is decent, even though you have to grind Quests to obtain the rewards.
