The Fortnite x Mortal Kombat collaboration will reportedly drop in Chapter 6 Season 2!
Fortnite x Mortal Kombat is a real collaboration that will happen in the game’s next season. While this possibility has always been doubtful due to Mortal Kombat’s violent nature, several leakers have confirmed this report. This unprecedented crossover will feature two skins and some other noteworthy aspects.

UPDATE: Sub-Zero and Scorpion confirmed!
Fortnite has confirmed that Sub-Zero will feature in the Chapter 6 Season 2 Battle Pass. The game’s official social media accounts posted the complete lineup, including Kuai Liang Sub-Zero’s second from the left. While it’s unclear whether this will be a secret skin, it remains unknown.
Additional leaks revealed that Scorpion will become a Fortnite Item Shop skin in Chapter 6 Season 2. However, a release date is unclear at this time.

This information arrived on Feb. 14 via Fortnite leakerFNBRintel, who said the Fortnite xMortal Kombatcollaboration will drop in Chapter 6 Season 2. For reference, the following season goes live on Friday, Feb. 21. That means we could just be one week away from thisseemingly improbable crossover.
FNBRintel reported the collaboration will feature two skins and two in-game Mythic items. While we don’t know the specific characters or Mythics, the possibilities are endless. The Mortal Kombat franchise is rich with iconic warriors with equally iconic abilities.
However, we won’t know until more details emerge. In any case, this is an exciting time for Fortnite and Mortal Kombat fans, especially since this crossover seemed unlikely.

What MK characters do we expect to see in Fortnite?
The obvious choices are Mortal Kombat’s poster boys: Scorpion and Sub-Zero. While Liu Kang is the franchise’s primary hero, Scorpion and Sub-Zero are the most recognizable MK characters. We expect to see Scorpion’s iconic Spear at the minimum for potential Mythic items.
The other one could be Sub-Zero’s freezing ability. However, as we said previously, so many Mortal Kombt characters with unique skills could work in Fortnite. Let’s not forget the inevitable Emotes, for which Scorpion’s patented “Get over here” would be perfect.
