The next Gigantamax Pokémon to come to Pokémon GO will be Gigantamax Kingler. It will debut during a special Max Battle Day. This will be the seventh Gigantamax Pokémon to release in the game, following the most recent debut of Lapras.

Gigantamax Kingler Pokémon GO Max Battle Day
Gigantamax Kingler will appear in six-star Max Battles on Saturday, August 02, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time. The Gigantamax Kingler you encounter can be shiny in Pokémon GO.
Max Battle Day event bonuses
The following bonuses will be active during the Max Battle Day:
In addition, there will be the following bonuses active from 12:00 a.m. until 5 p.m. on the event day of Feb. 1.
However, please note that for these bonuses to apply, Trainers must first have collected all Max Particles available in the Nearby menu.
