Stock up on some eggs, fellas! Jandel is cooking another Pet-oriented update.
After the Prehistoric Update, Jandel will launch a new one called the Pet Mutations Update, which will further improve the role that our beloved lawn Pets play in Grow a Garden.
As the game introduces more Pets every update, with the rarer ones having more useful traits in various ways, likeproviding mutationsandincreasing cooldowns, it looks like many players will definitely work again on increasing their garden’s Pet capacity if they haven’t maximized it yet.

The following details are all based on Grow a Garden’s Roblox page and some leaks that came from the man behind everything about this game, Jandel.
New Pet buffs and the Pet Mutation mechanics
Mutations aren’t exclusive tocropsanymore — even your Pets are now upgradeable through mutations, which might change their physical appearance, enhance the effects of their traits, or even give them new abilities.
Jandel recently posted a TikTok that included tidbits of information about features related to the Pet Mutation process. Another chamber similar to the Dinosaur Machine will appear right beside Raphael, the NPC that sells Pet Eggs. That chamber will replace the three egg sprites that let you know what Pet Eggs are in stock.
With all the exciting Pet mutations aside, it’s sad that we won’t be able to see the Pet Egg in stock in a single glance anymore, since you need to talk to Raphael first to open the list of available Pet Eggs, pretty much like theGear Shop.
