Honkai: Star Rail is the newest game from studio MiHoYo, best known for Genshin Impact. The game is a free-to-play and turn-based RPG that allows the player to collect a wide variety of waifus — I mean — characters. Below is a list of every character in Honkai: Star Rail, their rarity, path, and element.

Arlan
At the top of our list of new Honkai: Star Rail characters is Arlan. He is head of the security department on the Herta Space Station. Though Arlan isn’t involved in the scientific research, he’ll do anything for the staff. Notably, he’ll only drop his guard around his dog, Peppy.
Asta
Asta is the intelligent lead researcher of Herta Space Station and is extremely competent at her job. She handles everything from staff to the Intelligentsia Guild.
Bailu
Bailu is a healer and a member of the Vidyadhara race. Her quirk is that despite being an expert healer, she hates the sight of anyone in pain and will heal them with her eyes shut tight.
Blade
Blade is a member of the Stellaron Hunters. He uses an ancient sword filled with cracks and, so far, no one knows his real name.
Bronya
Bronya is Belobog’s future leader. She was raised as the perfect heir, but has doubts after seeing the terrible conditions in the Underworld.
Clara
Clara is a young girl who was forced to join the prospectors to survive. She accidentally activated a robot named Svarog, who united the prospectors under his leadership. The only thing Clara truly wants is a family.
Dan Heng
A quiet and reserved train guard for the Astral Express, which he only joined to escape his past. Dan Heng also uses a spear named Cloud-Piercer.
Gepard
The noble and prestigious captain of the Silvermane Guards. Gepard maintains the defense of Belobog, allowing the people of the city to live in peace.
Herta
The true master of the Herta Space Station, Herta has the highest IQ in The Blue and does only whatever interests her in the moment. She also normally appears using a puppet with the appearance of her younger self.
Himeko
Himeko is a scientist and the navigator of the Astral Express. She found and repaired the train as a child, which she soon used to begin her travels among the stars.
Hook
The boss of The Moles adventure squad, Hook loves freedom and adventure. She is one of the tiniest and cutest of the new Honkai: Star Rail characters.
Jing Yuan
Jing Yuan is the Cloud Knight who commands the Xianzhou Luofu, one of the six flagships owned by the Hexafleet of the Xianzhou Alliance. Though he seems extremely lazy at first glance, Jing Yuan is very meticulous about his management.
Kafka
One of Destiny’s Slave Elio’s most trusted members. Kafka is on the Interastral Peace Corporation’s wanted listed, however they only know her name and the fact that she likes collecting coats. She is also one of the first characters in Honkai: Star Rail that you’ll encounter!
Luocha
Luocha is a young man who carries a coffin on his back. He’s a member of the intergalactic merchant guild and has excellent medical skills.
March 7th
Named after the day she was freed from ice by the Astral Express Crew, March 7th is clever and enthusiastic about life. She carries around a camera to try and capture something related to her past. She is already a fan-favorite character in Honkai: Star Rail based on her cute design.
Natasha
Natasha is a doctor who works in the Underworld, a place where doctors are rare to find.
Pela
Though young, Pela is a competent intelligence officer of the Silvermane Guards.
Qingque
A slacker, Qingque is a diviner for the Divination Commission who would prefer to play cards or read a book rather than move up in her department.
Sampo
Sampo is a duplicitous Underworld mercenary who will do anything for his customers. However, he’s just as willing to betray them for the right price.
Seele
Seele grew up on her own in the Underworld of Belobog and is used to looking out for herself. She is currently a valiant and key member of Wildfire.
Serval
Serval is the eldest daughter of the Landau family and older sister of Gepard. Her interests have led her to run a workshop in Belobog named Neverwinter that occasionally hosts rock concerts.
Silver Wolf
Viewing life as a game, Silver Wolf is a master hacker who can edit the data of reality.
Sushang
An amateur knight, Sushang enthusiastically pursues her ambition to become a renowned figure of the Cloud Knights. Most of her days are spent helping others!
Tingyun
A fox girl and a member of the Whistling Flames merchant guild, Tingyun uses her silver tongue to captivate her auidence.
Trailblazer
Trailblazer is the playable main protagonist of Honkai: Star Rail. You can choose to either play as Stelle (female) or Caelus (male).
Welt
Welt has saved the Earth from destruction multiple times and is now a seasoned member of the Astral Express. For some time, he worked as an animation storyboard artist.
Yanqing
A lieutenant of the Xianzhou Luofu, Yanqing is a genius swordsman. In fact, he is the best swordsman of the Xianzhou Luofu.
