I loved mySuper Mario Bros. / Duck Huntcartridge, but I wouldn’t give $3 for that sh*t now. What makes this guy think someone is going to pay $200,000 for a prototype cartridge with these games on it (also includesWorld Track Meet)?
Maybe it’s because they know aLegend of Zeldaprototyperecently went for $55,000.

Or maybe it’s because they’re banking on the Video Game Grading Association’s Certificate of Authenticity, which attempts to rate and value rare items. This game received a NG (No Grade) label from VGA, as it’s the only of its kind. You can take this as meaning that it’s priceless, or that it shouldn’t have a price, as it’s worthless.
If you really want a dirty old collectible version of games you’ve already played a million times, have at it. Just know that Nintendo is misspelled on the label. Or, for bargain shoppers, anArcadia VIprototypeis a deal at only $100,000.
