Our Take On Amazon’s Wolfenstein Adaptation

Amazon Is Quickly Becoming The Dominant Streaming Service For IP-based fantasy/Sci-Fi

From upcoming video game adaptations likeWarhammer 40,000andGod of Warto movie franchise spinoffs likeBlade Runner 2099andThe Rings of Power, Amazon’s library is expanding for those interested in speculative fiction shows. With the production company behindFalloutinvolved as well, this seems like an ideal home forWolfenstein.

I’m not extensively familiar with Patrick Somerville’s work, particularly the shows he’s created. However,I am a massive fan ofThe Leftoversand feel inclined to put my trust in any writers who worked on that series.

There’s certainly something to be said about Somerville being a long-term fan ofWolfenstein, but I believe the more critical element is that he has experience on a variety of TV productions. This is a veteran television producer, and with Jonathan Nolan’sFallout-producing company at his side, I’m hopeful this could turn out well.
