Speaking of which, it looks as if the PS4 version’s file size has now been revealed.
According to the box art of the Japanese iteration ofKingdom Hearts 3, PS4 fans should set aside a minimum of 40 GB of storage space in order for the content of the game’s physical disc to be installed on the Sony system. Naturally, this is only an approximation of how much data will be required forKH3to run on the platform, as the title will surely wind up having a Day One patch to supplement its release.
For those unaware, the requirement of about 40 GB of storage space forKingdom Hearts 3on PS4 appears to be a little bit bigger than what players on the Xbox One will need to play the action-RPG, with theMicrosoft Store having listed its file sizenot too long ago. The download size forKH3on consoles appears to be somewhat close to the file sizes of other recent releases in the series, asKingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologueneeded around 30 GB on the PS4, whileKingdom Hearts 1.5+2.5 HD Remixcalled for roughly 45 GB.
All things considered, it’s safe to say that myriadKingdom Heartsdevotees will have their consoles primed and ready for the third entry’s launch, especially since they have been patiently waiting for its release ever sinceSquare Enix’s confirmation of the title at E3 2013. With this being the case, it will be interesting to see just how the franchise’s fans respond toKH3once it officially hits store shelves.
