On Sunday, April 7, the Poosh founder, 44, posted photos of herself swimming in the ocean while on vacation with her family in Turks and Caicos — and hilariously revived anold joke fromKeeping Up with the Kardashiansin the caption.
“My diamond earring came off in the ocean and it’s gone,” the mom of four captioned thepair of imagesshared on Instagram. Kourtney smiled while taking a dip in the ocean wearing a black bikini in the first photo.
In the second photo, she had a worried look on her face as she touched her ears, pretending to check for an earring.
The joke is a nod to a very memorable season 6 episode ofKUWTKfilmed in 2010,in which Kim, 43, and then-boyfriendKris Humphrieswere vacationing with her family in French Polynesia when tragedy struck.
Humphries, now 39, playfully threw Kim into the ocean, where she landed on the side of her head, and when the SKIMS founder came up to the surface, she realized her earring was missing.
“My earring’s gone!" she said, with panic in her voice. " “F—! Oh my God, I’m gonna cry. My diamond earring!”
“We’re not gonna find it in the ocean!” she yelled at Humphries when he tried to help.

Kim’s mom,Kris Jenner, tried to comfort her daughter as she walked around, fretting about the lost earring — but Kourtney was having none of it.
“Kim, there’s people that are dying,” Kourtney said, after asking her sister what was wrong.
It certainly put the jewelry crisis into perspective, as Kris, 68, did for Kourtney in the comment section of her latest vacation post.
“Kourtney, there are people that are dying ….” Kris wrote, repeating the iconic line.
