Marvel Rivals update buffs Blade

As the game’s newest duelist hero, Blade will get slightly buffed in Marvel Rivals' Aug. 21 update. When the patch goes live, he’ll have more staying power on the battlefield thanks to increased Lifesteal gained during Bloodline Awakening (E). Instead of 60%, this will increase to 65%. His survivability will also improve as his self-healing reduction will drop from 40% to 35%.

Marvel Rivals patch notes nerf the Human Torch

Meanwhile, the Human Torch will be nerfed in terms of Flame Field and Pyro-Prison. Flame Field’s damage over time will be reduced from 25 to 20 per second and Pyro-Prison’s damage over time will be reduced from 50 to 40 per second.

Marvel Rivals nerfs Loki in August 21 update

As for the God of Mischief, his illusions will become less punishing. Mystical Missile damage dealt by Loki and his illusions will be reduced from 30 to 25. Meanwhile, healing for teammates will remain the same.

According to NetEase Games, these changes to Blade, the Human Torch, and Loki will not lead to any server downtime. Therefore, once the new Marvel Rivals patch arrives on Aug. 21, players will be able simply update their client and enter the fray.
