Halloween is almost upon us and Netflix is beginning to share more teasers for its upcoming horror releases. Following the recent reveals from the platform’sGuillermo Del Toro’s Cabinet of Curiosities,Netflixjust dropped some new images from Mike Flanagan’s teen horror showThe Midnight Club.

Back in June, viewers received their first glimpse atThe Midnight ClubduringNetflix’s Geeked Week event, where the platform showed off teasers and announcements for upcoming projects coming to the service. The previously releasedMight Clubtrailer showed a snippet of the club, introducing each one while lightning flashes ominously and shadows move and swirl in the background.

Audiences also got a glimpse of the club at a long table uttering their motto, “To those before. To those after. To us now. And to those beyond. Seen or unseen. Here but not here.” In these new images, the teens are seen all in an elevator and in another they are gathered around a book in the dark with flashlights. The most interesting of the four images fromFlanagan’s newest Netflix projectis one depicting a character screaming in front of what appears to be a group of hooded figures while the other features one character holding a telephone to his ear, teary-eyed whilst a group of children screams behind him.

TheMidnight Clubis a story centered around a group of teens living in Brightcliffe Hospice, a care facility for terminally ill young people who form a club that meets to share scary stories. The teens, in an effort to deal with their mortality, make a pact. Whoever of them dies first has to come back in some way to prove that death isn’t the end. When one of their group passes away, strange things begin to happen around the facility.

It’s hard to say whether these shots come from parts of the show that take place in reality or within the realm of the stories that the teens regale each other with, but either way, things are looking spooky in Brightcliffe. The show is set to be a mix of horror, teen drama, and sensitive topics that - ifpast projects from Flanaganare anything to go by - are sure to haunt viewers long after watching.
