Dota 2 legend, Miracle-, will team up with SumaiL and KuroKy in the new generation of Nigma Galaxy.
The 2024 season is looking when Dota 2 fans from all corners of the world celebrate the return of Amer “Miracle-” Al-Barkawi. The legendary TI winner has been on a long hiatus and he’s back once again for another round of competitive Dota 2 - this time with a new generation of Nigma Galaxy.
Miracle- returns to pro play after a year of break
Miracle- is arguably the most popular Dota 2 professional player out there. The fans love him and the pros look up to him.
He had a quick rise to stardom in 2015, initially stomping pros in pubs and then joining OG, later at the end of the year. In 2017, Miracle- lifted the Aegis of Champions alongside his teammates in Team Liquid. The squad would later move under the Nigma Galaxy label in 2019.
However since then, the team had a grim period with little success. In December 2022, Miracle- announced his indefinite break from the pro scene.
What was a year felt like an insanely long period for fans of Miracle-. And his anticipated return finally arrives ahead of the 2024 season. Nigma Galaxy, which has just dealt massive changes to its roster, announced the return of Miracle- in a one-minute clip.

A new generation of Nigma Galaxy
Two days ago, Nigma Galaxy released a wave of roster announcements. Two of the team’s founding members, Maroun “GH” Merhej and Ivan “MinD_ContRoL” Ivanov have departed the team. WhileMinD_ContRoL will look for other opportunities, GH will be taking a break from the competitive scene. Two of Nigma’s new blood players, Kasra “Mikey” Mesbah and Yuma “Yuma” Langlet, also left the roster.
The remaining member, KuroKy, was then joined by TI winner and star player, SumaiL. Miracle-’s return to Nigma Galaxy marks the addition of the third official member of the roster. This new generation of Nigma Galaxy is already looking incredibly strong on paper.
