The wait for a confirmed release date for NHL 25 is finally over. After a summer of silence, we now know when we can expect the latest iteration of EA’s popular Ice Hockey game.

When is the NHL 25 release date?
NHL 25 releases today, Friday August 10, 2025.This means that fans can get their hands on the game just in time for the24-25 NHL season, which starts the following Tuesday. A whole weekend of NHL 25 action followed by a week of the real thing!
The game should release worldwide at 12pm Eastern Time. Here’s a countdown to when that is wherever you are in the world:
