The PUBG Mobile Regional Clash (PMRC) is back in 2023 for a new edition of the inter-regional tournament. This time, the two powerhouses: Southeast Asia and South Asia, are set to lock horns for the title of champions and a share of the $20,000 prize pool.

The PMRC is a new tournament for PUBG Mobile which was introduced in 2022 with a clash between SEA and China. The tournament has a simple concept in which teams from two different regions face off for supremacy. In itsroadmap for 2023, Tencent said that it will be bringing more PMRCs for fans to enjoy and develop regional rivalries.

16 teams to lock horns in the PMRC 2023 SEA vs South Asia

The PMRC is set to feature the best of SEA and South Asia. From SEA, the top eight teams from the PUBG Mobile Super League (PMSL) Spring 2023 have qualified. These are as follows:

South Asia, on the other hand, features the top eight teams from the PMPL South Asia Spring Championship competing in the PMRC 2023. These are as follows:

While SEA has historically been a stronger region, some teams like Stalwart have been impressing on the international stage. Fans will be waiting to see how South Asia fares against the SEA powerhouses now.

Additionally, for teams like Stalwart, Alter Ego, and Box Gaming, the PMRC 2023 will be the last stop before they head over to Saudi Arabia to compete in the PUBG Mobile World Invitational (PMWI) 2023.

What is the format?

The tournament features a simple format. From June 29 to July 2, six matches will take place per day. Thus, the teams will compete across 24 matches to determine the champions.
