News about Adventure Sync Level 4 first popped up thanks to some datamined intel and players have since done further digging to figure out exactly what is needed to unlock the fourth level tier and what kind of rewards might be in store.

So, yeah, a lot of walking. That said, players who manage to hit the 100 km milestone each week should be in for a pretty substantial reward. According to early reports, it sounds like players who reach Adventure Sync Level 4 unlock 16,000 Stardust. Keep in mind that this amount can be boosted up to 24,000 Stardust by using a Star Piece.
Considering that Stardust is arguably the most valuable resource in the mobile game, this reward should be some serious motivation to get out the running shoes and start racking up some distance whilePokemon GOruns in the background. This is basically a way to passively accumulate some very valuable resources, so players who have the time and motivation should be sure to take full advantage of it.
