InPokemon GO, Collection Challenge is a timed event that rewards trainers in exchange for catching specific Pokemon. And now, afterthe Catch Mastery event, the Collection Challenge is revived as a part of the 2023 Festival of Colors, which lasts until March 14th.

How to Complete the Collection Challenge During Festival of Colors
Completing the Collection Challenge 2023 is simple. Catch Koffing, Stunky, Wobbuffet, Natu, Shuckle, Paras, Krabby, Bruxish, Sandy Burmy, Plant Burmy, and Trash Burmy, and evolve one Burmy into Mothim. Once all twelve Pokemon are in the inventory, head to a PokeStop, mark the task as complete, and collect the rewards.

How to Catch All 12 Pokemon in Collection Challenge
Except for Stunky, all other Pokemon of the Collection Challenge are frequent encounters throughout the Festival of Colors. So, catching them should be straightforward.
But here are some tips:
There is an evolution icon next to Mothim’s name on the Collection Challenge list. This means that the Pokemon is only obtainable through evolution and unavailable in the wild. To have one, spend 50 Candies on a male Burmy and evolve it.
What’s the 2023 Collection Challenge’s Reward?
The base reward for completing the Collection Challenge is 20,000 XP andone Lure Module. But the challenge also adds to the Trainers’ Elite Collector Medal.
The Collection Challenge lasts until March 14th at 8 pm, and the rewards won’t be claimable afterward.
