Not-for-profit high school R.I.S.E. Academy has announced a Canadian LAN event that’s tailored to students, esports fans, and professional players alike. Read on for everything to know about the upcoming R.I.S.E. Academy LAN event!

The R.I.S.E. Academy LAN event’s Activation Center will feature Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) Game Force and CAF flying simulators, virtual reality experiences, plus Vr7ual F1 racing rigs from 9 a.m. EST to 3 p.m. EST.
The event will also highlight students duking it out on the main stage from 10 a.m. EST to 3 p.m. EST. University of Ottawa’s esports team, for example, will face Carleton University in VALORANT. Meanwhile, Algonquin College and Incubator13 will be in attendance.

Next, former Fortnite playerMatteo DiPantewill be at the event to share his own insights and experiences. This will be in the form of an exclusive interview session. For those who are interested in the esports academia side of things, individuals from Full Sail University, the National Association of Collegiate Esports, St. Clair College, Shenandoah University, and Syracuse University will be at the R.I.S.E. Academy LAN as well.
“The agenda also features an engaging session by Soungui Fitness, emphasizing the importance of physical activity for gamers,” the announcement continued.

RISE Academy LAN for teachers and students
Marc Dubeau from Osgoode Township High School will host an exclusive workshop for teachers and students, too. This will be focused on game technology plus the Unreal Engine.
“Participants will enjoy free access to the event and a month-long subscription to the Inspiretech Virtual Academy,” the announcement added.
