Dotemu’s awesome brawlerStreets of Rage 4will see a secondphysical release,courtesy of publisher Merge Games. This is not to be confused with the brawler’sfirstphysical release, which was distributed byLimited Run Games.
Merge Games is releasingSoR 4in two formats. The Standard Edition will simply bag you a boxed copy of the game on the platform of your choice. The Signature Edition features sturdy “Sierra” packaging, alternate artwork, a collector’s certificate, five super-cool enamel badges, a key-ring, and Axel’s trademark headband – so you can go into the streets and mash people’s faces in for real. (EDIT: I’ve been instructed to inform you NOT to go into the streets and mash people’s faces in for real.)
The standard edition will retail for around $30 on PC, $35 on PS4/Xbox One, and $40 on Nintendo Switch, while the Signature Edition will run you $45 on PS4/Xbox One and $50 on Nintendo Switch. Pre-orders are live nowon the Merge Games website, but move fast, orders for all editions will close on Sunday, May 10.
