Sorry for missing last weeks post, things around the Platt house have just gotten a bit busier than I was expecting and, well, I forgot.
Looks like there’s going to be another mouth to feed around here, and the sounds of little feet, eventually running all over…
Here’s Shadow with some words of wisdom:
Halloween is over, hopefully everyone has had their fill of candy and bonus ducks. Hopefully everyone is ready to move on to the next major holiday of the season, Christmas! In fact my neighbor already started putting out lights, and it’s not even Thanksgiving yet. It seems like soon we will just have Christmas, and only Christmas, 365 days of Christmas. Much like the medic, Christmas is love, Christmas is life.
In other news, congratulations are in order for Jonathan Holmes who was recently made our glorious green robot’s new editor in chief (http://www.destructoid.com/hello-i-m-the-new-editor-in-chief-of-destructoid-283640.phtml). Over in the cblogs I’ll try to start being more active myself with a new series that I’m going to be writing about journalism. I’m taking a bit of an odd approach, where I won’t post anything until the entire series is written, and then in between the posts I will go through and thoroughly proof, source and edit every section before release.
On the TF2 front, there isn’t much to say outside the fact that the non-event map rotation is back in place. I’m hoping to have Between 2Fort come back sometime soon as well. Here’s to hoping that the End of the Line update will happen sometime in the nearish future.

Every Tuesday, a ton of folks from all across Destructoid hop on to the community server to play, talk, and shoot each other. It’s usually a pretty crazy good time, and almost always involves various melee only matches between a handful of classes. So feel free to jump on and join us sometime!
