Recently revealed for a July release,Xenoblade Chronicles 3will take up a hefty chunk on your Switch: half the entire on-board storage n some cases. Naturally,nearly all of youhave upgraded at this point, and probably expected around that file size: but just in case!
In terms of how this shakes out, theXenoblade Chronicles 3file size is the biggest yet for the main series. While the first two games (on Switch) are roughly the same, teetering around the 13.5GB mark give or take, this one ups the ante a bit into the 15GB territory. Start clearing out your space now.
If we really want to get nuts,Xenoblade Chronicles X(which doesn’t even have an official storefront page anymore), an often-forgotten part of the series, really shakes things up and takes the cake overall.It had a staggering 10GB ofdata packs, which included anything from speeding up load times to making things look sharper, in various aspects of the game (like walking around the field, or in shops).
