Just let me ride an elephant
You can decide how big of a grain of salt you want to take this phrase with, but Ubisoft “accidentally leaked” the first story details forFar Cry 4by “inadvertently” putting a page for the game on the company’s store. But, the Internet sees all, and of course, somekeen eyecaught it.
Here’s the description, as Ubisoft tells it:
Hidden in the majestic Himalayas lies Kyrat, a country steeped in tradition and violence. You are Ajay Ghale. Travelling to Kyrat to fulfill your mother’s dying wish, you find yourself caught up in a civil war to overthrow the oppressive regime of dictator Pagan Min.
Ubisoft didn’t outwardly state it, but the protagonist’s name makes it sound as if he’ll be Indian or Nepali. Also, the game’s creative directortweetedthat whoever’s featured on the cover art isn’t the player and isn’t white, despite looking incredibly white. Even though this is shrouded in mystery at the moment, I’m sure it won’t be long before everything’s cleared up.
