As we found out after Nintendo’s E3 presentation, the puppets that were involved wereactually creations of Jim Henson Studios. President Shigeru Miyamoto didn’t just contract them out, but actually visited the studios’ location in Hollywood, California. He meets up directly with Brian Henson and the duo share their mutual respect for each other, with Miyamoto reminding Henson that he actually received an award from the studio for his creative advancements for children.
Both of them seem very genuine, and I really enjoyed watchingJim Henson’s Creature Shop Challenge, so getting another look at the fascinating studio itself is a win in my book.
