Competitive points allow you to buy golden guns in Overwatch.
Activision Blizzard has done away with the commemorative sprays and icons players earned each season in Overwatch 1. Instead, Overwatch 2 will feature new limited competitive titles that players can display to show their progress in competitive matches. You can buy golden guns with Overwatch 2 competitive points.
Whare are Competitive titles in Overwatch?
Competitive titles are available only at the end of the season and players can only use them in the following season. These titles are a way of you showing off your highest skill to your friends.
The limited Competitive titles are a temporary replacement for the commemorative sprays and icons that were part of Overwatch 1.

Players will continue earning Competitive points for their victories, including 15 points for a win and 5 for a draw. 3000 Competitive points allow you to purchase a golden gun of any hero. Golden weapons are often the most sought-after heroes in Overwatch 2. This includes weapons for new heroes such as Sojourn, Junker Queen, andKiriko.
However, we’ll be capping the number of bonus Competitive Points earned at the end of a season to the highest skill tier you reach in any of your roles, including Open Queue.
